Another Deer Cam Pic.
Bobcats in S Texas are the number 1 killer of deer. If you have many bobs, you won't have any fawns- at all. I think they are beautiful animal but like any other animal, they have to be controlled. I'm not sure you could even get close to killing enough of them here to make them a rare animal. Armadillos, now that's gotten to be a rare thing to see since Lone Star Beer made it their mascot. Seems like everybody just had to have one until they found out how filthy they are. Now an armadillo is a rare one to see. They were as common as rabbits at one time. But where you have Bobcats, you won't have any fawns. Bobs are also one of the rare animals that will kill for sport. Some of the ranchers here raise goats/sheep and a Bob will cruise thru the flocks and kill 30-40 head and carry off MAYBE one. They're not good news animals that's for sure.
Like that would EVER happen in the wild??? Having dabbled in taxidermy, the main reason, is to replicate the animal as it appeared in real life. A Grizzly Bear and a Leopard live on two different continents, so the likelyhood of them ever fighting is slim to none, (I guess it could happen in a zoo if one escaped???)
No kiddin it wouldn't happen in real life. But a mount of a grizzly stood straight up (bearing you'd have to have a HUGE ceiling) and a leopard standing on its back legs with one paw up higher and showing its teeth like it was going to attack would make an awesome mount in my opinion.
Oh it wouldn't? Gee I thought because of the wizard of oz (lions, tigers, and bears oh my) that bears, lions, and tigers all lived together? Silly me.

Ha! Last year we had caught a coon in one of our traps on New Years eve. Well it was freakin cold out so the coon was frozen so we had left him out to unthawl. Well long story short, we threw a party that night and had set the coon on the door step as a prank and somebody had put a cig in his mouth. It was pretty funny at the time.
I got it from a co-worker in a e-mail awhile back. I just have kept it and play it for friends and my kids etc...
