It seems that several that are having problems are using either FireFox or Chrome.

It seems to effect all of the brousers. I use IE and have tried FF here. Also the last week or so I've been getting some pop ups, that I didn't used to get.

Blue- I have an I-Mac that is less than a year old and use Safari and I have been getting the same thing. Seems like it must be on this forum. I don't have the problem anywhere else on the Net. I have Firefox but only use it for a couple of e-mail accounts that don't want to behave like they should on Safari. The fickle world of cyberspace.

There's a rouge ad in the Google ad stack... I've been working to find it for a while now but can't put my finger on it...

FWIW, it's happened to me too.

Never had any problems running Firefox on both my Macbook Pro and other Windows rigs. That definitely sounds like malware.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. Yesterday it happened six times in a row. I have resorted to uninstalling Adobe Flash whenever I want to come to this site. It's the only way I can get around here. I even tried reverting back to an older version of Adobe with no luck.

For those saying viruses, etc....why does it not happen on other sites?

edit- Rockpick--thanks for looking into it.

Interesting guys -

I use FireFox with the Ghostery add-on (set to block any "tracking") and I don't have the problems that any of you describe.

When I start FF, it's set to open five different forums in f150online in separate tabs. Usually, they all start up fine. Once in a great while, I have to reload one or more of them, but then it reloads fine.

I get NO ads, except for what looks like one for finding used f150's that seems to be a permanent "feature" on the left side of the FF window.

- Jack

Yeah I completely forgot I'm using adblock+, so it's blocking everything but the carsearch ad on the left.
