Christian Reich? Show me where this is. Show me how any Christian has power over you. Elected officials are just that. Elected. Just like the dumbocrats were.

This passage of the bill really makes my stomach turn. The implications are so great I don't know how we can recover financially if they get what they want. I was planing to retire at 55 (7 years from now). That may not be possible any more. Inflation will kick in and we will not be able to afford to retire.

No one will be able to really "retire" unless they have at least $3 million in the bank.... I only have about $200 grand saved and I'm 46 years old and put away 10% of my INCOME, including my wifes account and that ain't *****..... I figure I'll have to work until I the day I die...

This is just so I can support all those ******* that have not worked a DAY IN THEIR LIVES!!!!

You're welcome all you deadbeats in society...... I'm working my whole life for your lazy asses.......

Mitch

the bad news is that we are doing EXACTLY what every democracy in history has done - Bluejay has hit the nail on the head. As somebody else put it, once the voters discover they can vote themselves bread and circuses, they do until the economy collapses due to unsound money. this is one reason why the founding fathers rejected a democracy and built a republic, which we did not keep. obtw, obama is working very hard to speed the fall of the dollar - he knows exactly what he is doing.

the good news, we are different in exactly ONE way from every democracy in history. we communicate better and faster because of the internet... will it matter?

you and I will soon find out.

you should have to have a job in order to vote.. if you havent had a job in over a year you should be unable to vote.. They do not pay into anything, so they should have no say about it...

I agree. Plus, for your vote to count.....pass a 10 question test about our government, country, and/or Constitution. But than again....if we did this, there wouldn't be a single Democrat or Liberal in office.

i'll go further - no one should vote if they get public funds... i could be convinced otherwise for cops, soldiers, etc., but in general, if you're getting money from us, i don't think it should be up to you how much money you get from us.

I agree. There is too much incentive to re-elect those that promise more of the same.

You are stealing my ideas now. If you keep it up people will start calling you names like callous, cold and heartless.

I think it is a conflict of interest and therefore the same rules should apply for jurys and judges.

AbsoDamnLutely!!! speaking of conflicts of interest, does anyone see anything wrong in letting lawyers make laws? (that they then exempt themselves from!)
