this is also rumored to be in the F150 lineup to replace the 5.4. Can you image what the new Shelby will be? GT700? with the supersnake in the 1000hp range?

no the 5.0 is an all new engine. the all new v6 will have 300 hp (but will lack in tq so it won't really be as fast as one may think)

I will keep my 07. it should be paid of by then. plus in 2011 this new 5.0 engine hopefully will drop the prices of superchargers for the 4.6. so maybe I can finally be able to afford to supercharge my 07 in 2011.

Nice car but I think by the time that thing comes out I'll be switching back over to a truck. Anyone know if that 5.0 will be a modular engine used in other vehicles as well?

It'll be nice to hear "5 point 0". Everything old is new again. - And it's about time. - Og

You are satisfied with 315hp? Seriously? I drove a stock mustang GT and I felt like I was sitting still...
