just got myself an 02 Honda 400ex! only paid $1,800, i thought that was a good buy. I am 18 and my parents called me stupid for buying it haha. i just wanted something to go out and ride with my buddies. i used to own a blaster when i was 15 but sold it for the truck, now that i have a pickup its no problems. sorry for stupid post, just excited about the new toy!

^ Not sure if he over paid or not, depends on the condition of the bike if i has any mods etc. I miss riding so much, heck at the moment NC is tryin to forbid atv, dirtbike riding on private property. Stupid state I live in in that aspect, I miss my KFX700 but my next will probley be a outlaw 525. Congrats on your ride!

maybe for the area, but for that price you can get 04 and up bikes.. I was lookin at a 04 660 limited for $1400

 

it has a white brothers eseries exhaust (slip on), nerf bars, renthal bars, itp holeshots on the rear, and a metal superman airbox. it runs nice. oh and cant really tell in pic but front fenders were cut. will get better ones eventually just took that on my phone when i picked it up.

your area must be lower priced, but here where i am thats a pretty damn good buy, everyone i talk to says it

yea I would say thats a great buy for a quad in the Northeast, I have been looking to grab a new one but I need to make sure I have truck payments taken care of first, and whenever I seem to get extra money after paying bills I just buy something for my truck cause this site will make you broke. Hopefully someday.

 

Quads are fun as hell.
I bought one on an impulse last fall and love riding it when I can.
Im only paying $69 a month on it (including interest) and it was an '07 leftover in '08.

I went looking at quads with my brother because he wanted one and we both got the same quads but mine is white and his is black.

The quad is part of the reason I bought my truck- towing it on a trailer behind my Elantra kinda sucked.

 

I had an 01 model a couple years ago. The 400ex is bulletproof and a lot of fun. Also, if you get new plastic, upgrade to the late model 450r style.
