Good quad for a fair price. My wife has the smaller one, the EX300 for over 3 years now. Not one problem with it, has been a really good all around quad. My son and I both have Raptors

Nice quad. If the 400 would have had reverse when I got my quad, I would have a 400ex. I got a 2001 300ex that I've had since 02 and I've beat the living HELL out of that thing and it's still runnin like new. When I first got it I put a speedometer on it with a odometer. When the odometer finally broke about 3 years ago it had a little less than 10,000 miles on it and when it was new I could get it up to 72mph. I can't even begin to tell you what all this quads been through and never one problem with it.

Well, I did have the clutch cover gasket go bad a few years ago. I was riding about 25 miles away from home and noticed a little oil seeping out from around the cover. I thought "It'll be fine til I get home." I rode for another 9 hours and when I got home I figured I should check the oil in it to see how much I lost. There wasn't a drop of oil in it
Haven't rode much in the past year though. I'd really like to get one of those new 700xx.

Around here some of the first year Raptor 700's (06?) have been goin for less than 3k. If you buy a brand new sport quad you're nuts because it will immediately be worth less than half what you paid. Could be because of where I live but prolly not.

Thats a good price for that quad. I had an 02 it was trouble free while I had it. I sold it to a buddy and he still has it. Not a single problem other than self inflicted stuff. Good choice! That motor can be squeezed pretty good for some decent power and remain very dependable.
