OK, so what SHOULD our response be?

It should've been more than this:

The Commander in Chief should've visited Ft. Hood by now. Anything to show support would help morale.

Instead he 'chills' at Camp David.

What would please you? Everyone dancing around, holding hands and making sure nobody's feelings got hurt? We shouldn't attack anybody, we should hunt terorists down and slaughter them in public, like they do to us. Wake up.

Hey---where did I say that we shouldn't hunt down terrorists? Huh? I am not worried about hurting anyone's feelings, least of all, yours. I agree that we need to hunt down terrorists. I just don't like the idea of utilizing conventional warfare to fight people who fight unconventionally. We have tried that before, and it didn't work too well, then, did it?

I wouldn't mind being more proactive rather than reactive in hunting terrorists.

Now, you can go back to sleep.

the FBI and the administration were so quick to rule out terrorism when it first happened too. the facts are getting clearer by the day that this dude was not just some "crazy nut".
