no! if anything, Ford trucks were a lot stronger back then! I bet if you put a new F-150 versus an F-100 and do a head-on the F-150 wouls suffer more damage. Althought less safe, trucks were stronger back when they were made out of steel instead of plastic nowadays

Of course the F100 would win damage wise. F100s are to old to have crumple zones or any impact absorbing designs built in.
