Has anyone ever got a lecture from someone else about how carrying your gun everywhere is dumb? I would like to shoot them!

You can't argue with people who think like that. They just refuse to accept reality.

Right now I'm carrying my Beretta 92FS 9mm in either a Gould & Goodrich shoulder holster or a Yaqui slide holster on strong side, (right). I've got a seat holster in my KR to put it in when I go somewhere that does not allow conceal carry, and also to have it handy when driving...the seat belt just happens to attach where the holster is! Puts too much pressure on it for my taste. I keep my S&W .357 mag in the monstrous console in my '84 Blazer when I take that one.

I was used to having a weapon on while working anyway, so now it just feels natural.

I was just looking at a Sig Sauer P226 the other day that "Fit" my hand like a glove...too bad they are $900!!! I'd have one of those in a heartbeat.

Nighthawk Talon II bobtail in an Alessi PCH most of the time.

Various pocket pistols (S&W 642, Ruger LCP, or even as big as a Colt New Agent .45 if wearing pants with big enough pockets) when I can't belt-carry.

Well, I got it thru The Sportsman's Guide, www.sportsmansguide.com, and it is item # AX9A-0134109. Pro-Tech Seat Buddy Holster. Your seats have to be open in back for this to work. The strap goes between the top and seat cushions and comes around to buckle on the side. It works great for me, even though it would require a cross-draw if needed in the truck. I feel it is better than just tossing my Beretta in the console/glove box, plus, it's out of sight when the door is closed.

Sorry about a "link", I'm not exactly computer savvy!

You can find that holster HERE

I carry a Glock 30 using a JIT slide from Don Hume. I love this holster. It's economical, durable, and holds my firearm securely, yet still allows me access w/o any fumbling w/ clips or snaps.

That seat buddy is really neat. When I'm in my truck, the .38 will fit in my sunglass compartment in the top console, but my Glock 22 will not fit there. That seat buddy is a perfect place for a G22 to rest!

I wonder if there are any knife carriers here? In MO knifes are considered in the CCW law. Me personally? I carry a case pocket knife anywhere I go, but not for pp reasons.

There are four things that I don't leave the house with out most of the time gun, wallet, cell phone, and my Leatherman. The only time I don't carry a gun or knife is when I am wearing a suit and tie to a private club that we like to have dinner at or I am at work where I cant carry my gun.

Edit: I always have a knife with in arms reach at home or in my truck.

I have one, but don't necessarily 'carry' it on a regular basis....

I'm new to the hand gun ownership ranks, so I only have a Ruger GP 100 .357 Mag 4" barrel. Nice gun and I like the simplicity of a revolver.. I have a simple mind!

My CCW license is still pending. When I get it, I am looking to get a Ruger LCP or a Kel-Tec PF9. Any other good CCW you guys (and gals) recommend????
