I didn't care for the Juliets or Gascans.
I had the Flap Jackets and traded up to Coke Bottles.

I was done with Oakley altogether after I went down to Mexico and got a pair of RoyBans for five bucks.

To be honest though, not all glasses are created equal.. most people may not notice, or keen enough to pick up on it, but the optical quality of most designer glasses is generally better. While I'm not a fan of some of the crazy frames Oakley carries, the lenses are definately gonna be better than anything you pick up at Wal-Mart and etc..

While spending any more than $10 may be a bit much for some people.. you get what you pay for.. besides, you only get one set of eyes..

x2 I have a pair of Juliets that i love, but they are a tad bit front heavy. What i mean is when i get sweaty and lean forward they tend to slip off. I recently tried a friends Flak Jackets and those will probably be my next pair. Oakleys polarized lenses are amazing, but personally i think Maui Jim's are probably the best in the market.

I can keep track of a free pair of tinted safety glasses from work forever, yet I have the hardest time keeping track of my Costa Del Mars. Never really have liked the Oakleys. My brother has a pair of the gascans and they're uncomfortable.

i have 4 pair. amber sqaure wires or juliets for driving and general use, half jacket SI's for stateside duty and sweet M-frames 2.0's with smoked and clear lenses for deployed duty. after seeing what they can take for abuse, i will never wear another brand of glasses

one of our suppliers molds all of Oakley's frames. They supplied me with some of the half jackets in red. Only time I've ever worn any sunglasses that weren't $15 cause I lose them. But for free I'll wear Oakleys anytime.
