Had 4 pair, Black/black minutes (Regret losing after 5 solid years with no problems), Charcoal/Fire orange minutes (Ex- gave to me so, I gave them away), Silver/blue Straight Jackets (Got paint over spray, looking for replacement lenses) and Black/Black XX Polarized, love them, my current pair. I lose cheapos plus they hurt my eyes.

As for your clear ones, eh, Iguess only if you can pull it off.

it's not really the main purpose but they are the only sunglasses that pass the inspection so technically you can use them as safety glasses, plus did you watch the second vid, they don't mess with the focus of your eyes.

Juliets are the best Oakleys you can get as far a durability goes. I've owned a pair for about 6 years now and they're like new. The most recent ones I've bought were HIJINX and Gascans. I customized my Gascans after they were scratched up real bad on the arms. I painted them with a matte black finish and stripped the O so it would be chrome. The main problem I have with the Gascans is they slip off your head too easily. The HIJINX aren't like that, they fit to your head a little better then the Gascans.

Word to the wise, beware of knock off Oakley's. I've seen some really convincing fakes that people paid way too much for...

I have worn half jackets forever. I also wear the Oakley boots for work. The boots are really comfortable. I use the govt/LE website to buy all my stuff from them to get the discount. www.usstandardissue.com

huh that's pretty neat. i didn't know oakley had a specific site for that. my friend had some of the military issued ones that were given to him from his brother.

yeah the discount for the boots is REAL good. When I was in Kuwait they were being sold for $199 in the BX and I bought them off of the website for $107 shipped.

Straight Jacket

I usually rock $5 wal mart aviators, but these don't fall off my head when I play softball.
