Who ready for hunting season!!
Where Is your cabin located?
I wish I was as excited for hunting as you guys. My family has some of the best hunting land in the state of Kansas, and since we only let two people hunt on it, other people sneak onto our land and hunt. This means gates left open, trampled fields, misc. stuff stolen from sheds, and scared cows damaging fences.
Not my favorite time of year.

^^ x2
im not much of a deer hunter, i prefer things with wings. ive gone dove hunting once so far but didnt take them home because we lost the few that we downed in a giant sunflower field. i went again but we ended up just shooting clays cause my friend forgot his hunting license in kansas city.
but dove season is just warm up, Oct 31 is opening day of Goose and Duck. thats the real deal.
unfortunately out here all i have to hunt is public land.

That should do it!
Have you ever caught any of them?
On the way home I've been glassing a few fields from the truck... Some NICE bucks near the property!
Another problem we have is the DBag neighbor to the SW of us, David Sequi. Yes, the former baseball player who was called out by Jason Grimsley for doping. He always has a bunch of rich buddies who think any land is their land. David has a very small plot that he uses for "hunting", but he really just uses his land for a home and hunts on everyone's land around him. Myself, my dad, our neighbors, and the people who farm for us have all had face to face arguments with David and his friends, all of which who could care less what we say to them, or what we threaten them with.
I have caught two people before, but all that happend was I found their truck, wrote down the plate, went home and called the sheriff with their location and the plate. It makes me really nervous hanging around a vehicle that I know is owned by someone who is hiding in the trees, in full cammo, with a weapon that could be pointed at me without even knowing it.
99 out of 100 hunters are just like you. They know the boundries of their hunting and are incredibly respectful of the land that is not theirs. The 1% that are not this way always manage to make it onto our farm, even though its basically in the middle of nowhere. Its not uncommon for me to pick up 30-40 empty beer cans from the ditches in one weekend.
Trust me, I always have a gun on me or in my truck when I'm at the farm. The problem is that the only person who lives at our farm full time is my grandma who is 75, so we dont really have an "active" watch of all our property.

I don't know if your farm has a backhoe or not but sounds like a good time to dig a 4ft deep trench around their trucks. Or Drop a couple of big trees across the driveway so their trucks are trapped in for the night.
