Pretty lucky Guy

I dont know if this is true or Photoshoped. My mom sent it to me in an email. If it is true this has to be one of the luckiest people around. Here is the story.

Just outside Flagstaff , AZ on U.S. Hwy 100.

You can see where this driver broke through the guardrail, on the right side of the culvert, where the people are standing on the road, pointing.

The pick-up was traveling about 75 mph from right to left when it crashed through the guardrail. It flipped end-over-end bounced off and across the culvert outlet, and landed right side up on the left side of the culvert, facing the opposite direction from which the driver was traveling.

The 22-year-old driver and his 18-year-old passenger were unhurt except for minor cuts and bruises.

Here are the pics of it.

I've seen those pics somewhere before - dunno if it was here or not, but that's not anything new.

That's a pretty crazy drop off right there.

It DOES look pretty hard to believe, doesn't it? Why would he go off the road on the inside of the curve? And, how in the heck did he manage to NOT slide off the cliff? The vehicle had to be moving at warp speed just to clear the culvert, how did it stop?

Regardless, if it's "shopped", it's a pretty convincing job and, just looking at the dropoff makes me sick to my stomach.

Not that it matters, but there is no US Highway 100, near Flagstaff or anywhere else. However, this is REAL:

Nice catch, glc! Still makes me queasy to look at the third picture! Amazing, isn't it, how some things can work out!

I feel like there should be a stronger guard rail with a drop off like that.
