What about the victims' families. MSNBC is officially morally bankrupt.

While I can appreciate your thoughts regarding the terrible thing that happened to the victims of 9/11 and their families, please don't ignore the damage done to good people of the Islamic faith. They are not all murderers, just as the American Indians were not all killers and not all Germans were members of the **** SS. Many of them now rightly live in fear, even though they have done nothing wrong and are decent American citizens. They are no more guilty of any crime than the thousands of Japanese Americans we rounded up and imprisoned during WWII.

A megalomaniac, not much different from Adolph Hitler, Benito Mussolini or Joseph Stalin who happens to be named Osama Bin Laden planned and executed these attacks. He is still laughing at us. Direct your anger at him, and encourage your Government to find and bring him to justice!

Sure, not all muslims have something to do with this attack, many are good innocent people. But why put an article up like that, instead of one about what happened to the good people of our country, muslims died in the attack too. you cant tell me there wasnt one muslim inside either of the towers, the pentagon, or on flight 93 that was innocent.

Also, it seems like the news channels sure do like to take all the chances they get to make us Americans look racist, or hateful. Even on the anniversary of the day when the most hateful racial crimes were committed against us.

Not racial, they (radical muslims in 9/11 and most of the recent incidents) don't like our society/culture/way of life. Had nothing to do with race.

It's a radical religious thing for them. Anyone who isn't Muslim must die.

Sorry, Will, I don't agree. This is really only true for the fundamentalists among them. It's similar to the views of fundamentalists among people of non-Islamic faiths toward them. You only have to pay attention to some of the views expressed here to see the truth of what I'm saying.

I'm going to bow out of this. My position as a Moderator makes me uncomfortable engaging in a "heated" discussion of this type. I recognize I have no special insight, just an opinion, like the rest of you.

I only ask that we keep it civil and not create a "hate" thread toward any group.

You must have missed the key word in my statement, the word radical. You can't argue that.

even when talking to the local leaders (and to position drop), the governer of the Kapisa province in northern afghanistan, they all stated it isnt the muslims as a whole, but the radicals within them that interprete the Quran in a more literal way than 99% of the rest of the muslim world.

The muslim religion calls for the death of all non-believers. I couldn't care less about their feelings.
