Took my YZ250 out the mothballs today
Hope I don't get into trouble. I looked for a dedicated picture section, but didn't see one so I decided to post this here.
Haven't ridden this thing in almost 2 years, and before the last time I rode it it had probably been a year or so since I had ridden it.
I drained to old fuel out the tank, and put some Leaded 110 in it. I figured it deserved some of the good stuff after sitting for so long. It took about 12-15 minutes of kicking to get it started where it would stay running, but once it got all the old premix out of the carb it ran like a champ. I forgot how much fun this thing is. I quite ridding because all of my ridding area's got fenced in, and particularly my jumps got a fence running about 30 ft behind them.
I'll probably wash it real good, and take my pipe into work and bead-blast it, as its got some heavy rust on parts of it.
Here's where it sat for two years.

Here it is after I put some air in the tires and pulled it outside.

Its alive!

Its amazing what 5 to 10 minutes of riding will do to clean up a bike that has been sitting for a long time.

Pictures of me sucking it up trying to ride after several years of not riding.

Too fast for the POS camera.

Picture of me posing with my bike, but looking pissed off because I was looking over at a couple of my dogs acting like they were about to start fighting right when it was taken. lol. Oh well.

Blue Mustangs, and Dirt Bikes FTW!!!

Cool! Someone with a old YZ400F got to talking dirt bikes with me the other day, and its what got me out there, and firing it back up. I forgot how much fun I use to have on it. I just wish I could still use my jumps.
Here's are some pictures of my old jumps that are no longer any good other than to ride from one side of the ditch to the other because of the fence. Atleast the Cows are using them and keeping them cleaned out. Jumping out of this ditch was fun as hell.

That sucks about the fence, is there not a local private motocross track around you? There is a guy in my town that used to race so he built his own track and charges 10 bucks a day or 35 a month to let you ride, he is constantly re working it also so it doesn't stay the same too long.
Yes we got a couple of tracks not too far from the house. There is a guy from Minnesota or something that comes down here during the winter and built them. He's big into racing, and apparently him and his dad build tracks as a business.
I might go to a track sometime, but I don't know if I would be good enough to ride one. I don't crashing so I try not to ride over my head. lol

Getting some M55 mufflers inplace of my Magnaflow mufflers on Monday. Magnaflow quality piping + M55 sound = win.

Here are some older pictures before I got the windows tinted, and before I got all the white wax residue out of my chin spoiler and blackened it out good.

I need to get it payed off so I can get a SB L to carry the SB YZ250 with. lol

You'll have to post up some sound clips. I've never heard of the M55's. I love the way Bassani sounds on the 4V cars. Beautiful car man. My buddy I was hanging out with today has an 04 Redfire with a whipple on it. I wish I could afford a terminator.
Here is a car with a M55 CB, and everything else factory, and then the same car with a full exhaust, and cammed.

^ He was at work when she did it apparently. He got a $1089 fine for them which is pretty rediculious for a noise violation. I don't see all these loud Harley's running pretty much straight headers around my house getting fines for their exhausts.
