I hear people on talk radio, liberal talk radio, that say that it was actually Reagan who caused everything that is wrong in our country today. I don't believe them, but that's what some are saying.

I was a kid for Reagans presidency. I didn't like him because I constantly heard people on TV, radio and even people I knew, badmouth the guy. I believed what these people were saying, because I was a kid. Ignorance is bliss. I have a better understanding about a lot of things and can now see that Reagan did some great things for our country. He did some not so great things too, and he deserves the ridicule for them. I can't say that we should have another Reagan for president. Someone that shares his values would be a step in the right direction though.

Untill at least 2013 Obama is our president. I hope that he is able to do some great things for our country. I hope that enough of the people of this country can convince him not to do some not so great things, or even detrimental things, to us and our country. He's proposing some things that will change this country forever, to a way resembling it before the revolution that created the United States.

He also had the endorsement of the Ayatollah Khomeini.
He also tripled the national debt.

Reagan was, without question, the greatest President of my lifetime! This man delivered us from the dark days of the Carter administration and instilled a new feeling of pride, optimism and self-reliance into the American populace!

You say you didn't live through the Carter years? Stick around -- Obama will have us in the same predicament in about 18-months, and you'll know all-to-well what life was like in the United States circa 1979......

Reagan was my favorite President also. Yes he did instill pride in the American People, and many other things.
The USSR had really already defeated itself.
It's the propaganda machine he built that has patterned the way political races are won now. That is the main thing that bothers me about his Presidency.
The true legacy he left will show in history, givin time. Because it is snowballing.
