Not enough MPGs to qualify for the clunker program. Dad drives 80 miles a day.

Dad picked up three junk rims for the Jeep today. They're on it now, along with the donut spare. It goes in tomorrow to die. Fusion comes home tomorrow.

congrats on the Fushion, the GF and i drove one a two weeks ago, very tight suspension, and sporty. The seat moved back significantly further then my F150 seat does.

I'm thinking that with the 6 speed stick, this is going to be a very fun car. I know I'm going to run the hell out of it.

Zair -- the air went out on my Ranger and I didn't feel like sticking $700.00 into it for repairs considering the fact that I was planning on replacing it toward the end of this year anyways. I found a good deal on a new Ranger I could live with and decided to pull the trigger.

Right now my plan is to keep the '97 and run it this winter when I don't need the air and rack up a few more miles on it. Once the hot weather comes back next spring I'll decide whether I want to sell it (the wife is busting my chops for having five cars around ) or hold on to it.

Dad brought it home last night... Asked momma to take a pic with her Blackberry and send it to me (she just learned how to do this and is excited about it) but she was too lazy to pull it out of the garage.

Home for the weekend...

It's a fun little car to drive, especially with the 6 speed manual. Didn't get a chance to really get up on it, but its pretty fast.

It's a nice car... has the Sync and everything, although I don't know how to use it.

Gotta love the gadgets... that synch seems rly neat. Makes me wonder if in another 20-30 years the vehicles will control themselves and start talking.

The new Ford Fusion is a HOT car. Congrats to your dad. If my wifes 2007 Acura TSX ever needs replacing we are going to seriously look at one of those.

He seems to like it. He's put over 1000 miles on it already.
