x2. its like people who say: "we need to kill all the spiders in the world." if that happened, then the fly population would explode!!

the human population is multiplying at an enormous rate, we need something to mellow it out.

Because there are numbers out there to compare. Numbers are considered facts by most people.

That is just sick. Peradventure you may be one of them.

No population problem. Worth a study.

Thank you, there aren't enough numbers to create accurate data. Like I said, let's revisit this in a year and see what those numbers are.

The numbers are in. In 1976 40 million people were vaccinated with 25 deaths from the vaccine. So far 477 people have died in the U.S. this year from the swine flu, and it hasn't even been close to being considered an epidemic.

The World Health Organization doesn't just look at the numbers that affect the United States.

I know, but the original story about the vaccine was listing deaths only for the US (25). The 40 million vaccinations was in the US only. That is why I limited my search for swine flu deaths to the US only. World deaths are much higher.
As I stated before, I will definitely be getting the shot. It is worth it.

When it taks bilions of US taxpayer dollars to feed third world contries every year, I would say they have reproduced beyond their means.

That again is a subjective opinion. They need our food and money because they are too poor and do not have the knowledge or technology to feed themselves. That does not actually make it a population problem where the earth is at the brink.

I get what you were saying, I'm just stirring the pot a little bit.

I don't buy all the hype over H1N1. Medical science is light years ahead of where it was 20-30 years ago. The fact they already have a vaccine is testament to that.
