Raptor is sweet
That's what bargaining is for. Who pays sticker for a vehicle?

Right now there is no barganing for them. That 6k is dealer markup and they do it cuz there is a demand and they can get pll to pay it. It happens with any new special vehicle when it first comes out. The challenger when it first came out was sold at 10k over sticker

Nice truck but just about everybody that buys that truck are not looking to go enter the Baja 1000 and use that truck.. Purpose built F-150 with mild off-road use sure, but off the showroom floor you run it like that it won't last long..

Considering most trucks in the Baja 1000 dont even finish, I would say for a, at the time, prototype truck to place 3rd, is pretty badass, and proved they've put some time into the truck. And the truck on the Baja course is how it will be on the showroom floor.

If this option was available back in '04, it would be under the hood of my XLT no question.
I was set on buying one of these when the 6.2L came but I gotta see it in person to decide. I have been thinking about the updated Super Duty Series and hopefully I can get an FX4 F-250 with the 6.2L in it but might go for the diesel.
I've learned the hard way not to buy the first of ANYTHING new. Bought the 4.2L when it came out, bad gaskets... new 5.4L came out...blown plugs...05 Mustang...bad suspension (from what i heard?).
IMO, i'd wait 1-2 years after the 6.2L came out so they can debug it and let the cost settle down
