The fenders make it wider, not the hood.

What are the little light lookin things?? Looks like three in the grille...and one on each corner of the truck...early warning system? Close in weapons system? Fire suppression system?? Or are they just lights?

Thanks,
Craig

Kudos to the guy that can afford one of those, and then take it out into the woods and scratch it up.

43K is a bargain for this truck. Buy a stock '09 then mod it out to be just like the Raptor. Add it all up including the cost of the truck and it's easily over 43K.

43k seems damn cheap to me. A fully loaded FX4 would probably cost close to that and doesn't have anywhere near the suspension that the Raptor has.

I was expecting something special with all the talk about the Raptor...

I'm not impressed, esp. @ 43K. I friend of mine just got a 2010, Diesel, 4x4, F-350 CrewCab for less than that.

Probably would have been better to just offer the 6.2L across the line.

I think some are missing the point here. The Raptor is basically a road legal Baja truck, the average 4x4 won't take the beating the Raptor will on the trail. The cost to mod out a conventional 4x4 to handle the trails the Raptor is designed for makes 43K a good deal.
