Love that gun, after this next gun build, I am planing on building a very similar rifle to that. That gun will shoot like a dream

 

it's got a bushnell on it now but I'm picking up a leupold mark IV for it and putting the bushy on another rifle.

 

I'm into long range shooting as well.



Was that a gun you built yourself or did you buy it like that? If it was my gun, I would not have the rubber washer around the barrel and 4 scope ring mounts... Remington makes some really good stuff, not really a sniper rifle but an accurate/long range rifle capable out to 1,000yds with a good shooter.

What is that scope, is it mil or moa?

I bought it from the builder, the 4 scope rings are there just to get them to me two are 30mm, two are 1 inch. All four rings and the mount are Ken Ferrell. It has a Harris HBRMS swiveling bipod and a Chaote stock.

Sounds good, you should check out the Snipers Hide, a ton of good info over there but they are rough on newbies at first...

After I get my conceal carry gun, next on the list is a .50bmg

 

I'd really like to try a Remington 700 in .338 Lapua, but .50 BMG would be fun too!

Come to Arizona. You won't need a night scope. We see them in or near our yard most every day, during the day.

I picked up a mark IV LRT a couple of weeks ago. Its a nice scope. Im sure youll like it.

 

That .300 RUM is a pretty awesome cartridge. Ear plugs and muffs, and hang on tight.
