Exclamation Dont need medic, I need a CORPSMAN

If you have a weak stomach don't look. The story goes like this

I took my boat out to the ocean last week and went sailing, but when we tried to get back to the ramp the channel was to narrow for us to "tack" back (on a sailboat you have to zig zag at close to 45degrees to head upwind) well we sat there for a couple mins until a good old boy came by on a Carolina skiff boat and pulled us back. He was a real nice about it.

So my fix was to slap a 2stroke 2hp evinrude on it. As Tim Allen would say grunt grunt grunt well I took it over to a part of new river that is brackish nasty water but it was smooth with no one around. I drop it in fired it up and putted around for about 5mins. When I got back to the ramp I steped off and sliped. My foot got caught under the water I tried to pull it off put there was a rod impaled about 3-4" so I slid it off tied my boat up limped over to my truck dropped my trailer and drove myself 30mins to the hospital. I hit an artery so its pretty bloody in my truck. Anyways I got there and they took care of me.

Here are pictures of my left foot my right one is cut but there smaller and didn't look as cool

For a little scratch like that, you don't need to waste the duct tape or ruin a perfectly good shirt.

Just put a few drops of Super Glue on it and hold until the count of 10.

If it bled in your truck as much as I think it did, it might be time for a professional detailing. Be sure to give the kid a $1 or $2 extra, lol.

Just rub a little dirt in it and you will be good as new. Seriously though that is a hellacious gash.

It's amazing we don't all kill ourselves doing things like this, isn't it? Are the docs pretty sure you won't have infection problems? I'm kind of surprised you made it to the hospital without passing out.
