Calling all Canadian's!
I'm new to the site and most of the people I see posting on here are American. Just wanted to know how many people on here are from the great white north and where. I'm in Calgary myself.

Bienvenu(?) Qub3d! I hope I spelled that right! No, je suis American BUT we have a strong contingent from the North here!
Let's see - there's Jimmar from Bancroft, JMC, Neal, -ZUB-, & Izzy Eddy are from Windsor, Yoshi is from Thunder Bay, & - WAIT! Why am I telling you this? Stop in chat & you can meet the guys yourself! For any of my Canadian friends whom I haven't listed it's to entice a countryman of yours to stop in & meet you personally!
Now, as for eph - well, just humor him. Honestly he's not dangerous as long as we say "yes eph, whatever you say eph" & make sure he gets his meds on schedule! LOL! Eph - you KNOW we all love ya, right?

I'm from Calgary, too.
I've had gears and diffs for a couple of my trucks (including my Expedition) installed at Modern Motors 4x4. Talk to Joe. They do good work for a fair price.

Hey Ian thanks for the info. I appreciate it. I got a couple of question's for you..
1. Why did you get 4.10's in your expedition? Where did you get your PIAA's? and you got any pic's?

I got my 4.10's mainly for towing - I couldn't find any Expedition EBs with 3.73's in Calgary and the 3.55's were way too tall.
A lot of people think changing gears is a big hassle but I haven't had any trouble on this truck or my old F250 (3.55 -> 4.10 there, too).
I tow a 27' TT and had no power. The 4.10's made it way better (I would have gone for 4.30's if they were available but it was 4.10 or 4.56 only).
Since my truck is a 99 the speedo was off after the gear swap which is why I got the Superchip from Mike T (take a bow, Mike).
A bonus to the swap (and my other mods) is the truck is way happier travelling solo, too. I drive to Edmonton a lot and the truck would kick out of overdrive on some of the hills. Now it never kicks down, it just torques up the hills.
I have posted a few comments on this over the past 6 months - search the Other Drivetrain forum.
As far as the PIAA's go, I got them from Performance Exhaust Centre but Modern Motors (and even Crappy Tire) sells them, too.
What kind of truck do you have?
Ian
ps - There are lots of Canadians on the board - Neal the Horsepower Freak is Canadian and so is JMC. There are quite a few of us from Alberta as well.
