Exclamation I'm coming out of the "website closet"

I am sick of "hiding" my affiliations with other websites. We have the First Ammendment to protect our Freedom of Speech & I intend to use it NOW!
I AM a member of F150World, SuperFord.org, F150Forum, Ford Truck Enthusiast, fordsvschevys, carsandtrucksforwomen & any other Ford site I can find. I pass along all these sites to nearly 100 members on my mailing list as well. This is NOT to undermine THIS site but to make available as much info on our trucks to the members I have become friends with since joining.
I am starting a WNY CHAPTER too so I can have live, in person contact with fellow F150 owners. I should have the necessary members very soon & will have an announcement here & at World.
If I have broken some "Golden Rule" I will not apologize. I have great respect for this site and Steve when FAIRNESS is extended to ALL members.
This could very well be grounds for giving me the boot - we'll have to see. I just couldn't hold this in any longer.
Waldo was upset enough to ask to be removed as a registered user BUT I don't agree that it should have been done. Just my opinon - I've always spoken my mind & I am not about to stop.

Thank you Mudder! I'm sure some think I'm just a big mouth but I NEVER abandon a friend & I consider you to be just that, as well as other World members.
Let's see what this does to my standing here shall we? I have an idea of what's going to happen - time will tell if my woman's intuition is corrcect or not! LOL!

Wink

Hey, I like this site, I really do, this is where it all began for me. I just don't like people to come here, and bash me, and others, that should not be tolerated.

You are not a loudmouth, it's members like you that bring fun and excitement to sites like this and World, you are truly a F150 fanatic

Personally, i think that forums and the like are provided so people can help other people. Bashing is a waste of people's time. (btw, mudder, your trucks is sweet, would only be sweeter if it was a reg cab!)

So, on topic, Cowlady, you have provided another forum that i will view from time to time. That's helpfull. I do start at this site, but it's always nice to have a few more handy.

Cowlady,

I told you before - you can run but you can't hide . . . if you leave I'll just track you down . . . !

It's members like you and Mudder and Mike The Superchip Guy and many others that keep most of us coming back day after day - hour after hour . . . because of you I have a new respect for cows . . . Mudder has convinced me to add, at least, one set of KCs to the front of my truck . . . I've decided to add a Superchip (sometime in the near future) simply because Mike presents great information in a very professional way, and I 'really need it' . . . and . . . there is just too much to go into . . . !

This site is great, mainly because of its members! Stay with us . . . all of you!

And here is where you are mistaken Cowlady. This is a privately operated website that has rules that people agree to when registering to use it. There are no first ammendment rights on this site. Sorry to report that.

Now, as far as "coming out of the closet" I welcome anyone to point me to an example where I censored or deleted legitimateposts about other websites or vendors that were not in violation of our rules.

I see hundreds of links to f150world.com on this site. I also links to fordharley.com, ford-trucks.com, svtperformance.com, pickuptruck.com, svt-lightnings.com, andthensometoo.com, nloc.org, etc, etc, etc, etc.

I will continue to delete posts that violate our terms of service. This is not a new policy, nor is it going to change. F150online would never had grown to this size and reputation without enforcing the basic rules. I will also delete posts that are made for the sole purpose of using F150online and its userbase to start their competitive sites. It's called protecting my interests. If someone disagrees that is the right thing to do, I suggest running a website for five years from nothing to 14000 members before commenting.

To anyone that does not see that this is important, you have alternatives and I encourage you to use them. Posts like this are started for the purpose of inflaming insignificant sparks.

Now that everyone's opinions have been stated, this thread no longer needs to be open. I will once again ask that if you have a problem with the way this site is run, either contact me offline and not start threads like this or do it with your actions and simply leave.

Steve
