Only been back to the dealer twice in 4 years (knock on wood). Hope that it stays that way for the next owner...

Cool

I certainly do not fit into this category. Last time I called my local dealer's service department, the service writer recognised my voice before I could tell them who was calling. I still love my truck, but I really believe that getting a trouble free vehicle has more to do with luck than brand.

I have nothing to report, problem-wise.
Just went over 36k last week.

I decided not to get an extended warranty. There was much apprehension as I watched the odemeter climb to 36k. After it tripped over I felt free, that there was no looking back now.

If I had the extended warranty, every new squeek, bump and groan would have me concerned about something that might need to be fixed. Without the warranty, I'll just keep 'steady gettin it' till she won't go no more.

Nothings EVER gonna break on my truck...

I have the door crack on the driver's door but really no other problems. '98 with 33,000 miles.

The minor ones that I have had:
- Bad transmission selenoid from 1-2 shift
- Bad power window motor (driver's side)
- Bad driver's door lock

All 3 were replaced under warranty. My warranty just ran out two months ago so I am keeping my fingers crossed. If the truck dies I will trade it on a new SuperCrew.

I am really waiting for a '03 or '04 SuperCrew. My truck will be paid off in March of '03 and still should be worth at least $10,000. I am just waiting to see what Ford does for the '03 model year and if they update the SuperCrew at the same time.

Knock on wood.........No problems with mine! Did just recently find a small door crack that would have gone unnoticed if it was'nt for the persistence of others here who displayed pictures. Most major problem with mine: the lack of that elusive RAP module that I so need to do some mods. ennis

Cool

Sold my 1997 Supercab when I bought the Harley truck. Zero problems with both of them. I bought Ford stock after getting the 1997 model, I was so impressed. (Have not been particularly pleased with Ford management lately, but that is another topic!) Anyhow, both my F-150's have been zero defect trucks.
