Yeah forgot about ol' Joe Diffie. He's another one who has a lot of good songs. But moral is there may be a hand full of country songs out there about dogsand trucks out of millions. not a good percentage in my mind

Old Eagles stuff is as Country as I get. I have an old set of Klips Horns, I dust them off every once and a while and listen to Desperado. I feels like I'm sitting in an old wooden Western saloon listening to that piano.

The Eagles version of Desperado was very good, but I think I liked the one by Johnny Rodriguez even better.
