+1 thanks Jeff I received my knife friday, and I have already used it a ton. I passed my first building project with flying colors still just as sharp as when I opened it.

i was told there was a small package for me. i had no clue what it could be... i opened it up with my keys, as i lost my knife the night before... found a brand new buck knife with pocket clip and a blade that will slice you open if you lightly close it on you finger.... VERY sharp indeed...
I have a lot of things that could be said about this knife, but i will only talk about the good/bad once this trial period is over...

i can still shave with it, and i have used it for everything from cutting my steaks open on the grill to stripping wire so far... the belt clip is not the average length, it is nice and short, and works like a charm...

i have never owned a buck knife before, it's cool to be able to try it before you buy another.

So I get home from the bar and see this mysterious package sitting on my steps. So I say to myself, Self, you better be careful it could be a box with some Anthrax (the white powdery substance, not the band) in it.

So I open it anyway and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I got my knife.

Thanks Jeff!

I got the emails, but I didn't get a knife. Of course, being LE, I see those knives were $100 a pop, so maybe he was limited in the amount of those he could send out on a trial basis.

Glad to see I'm helping out the band-aid makers

Z-man - got you taken care of
Harleyrider - just shot you an e-mail.

If you didn't get a chance to sign up for this 1st test and you want to get on the list for the next time around, find my original sign-up post and follow the directions there, and I'll put you in the pool for leter this year on a different model. I have to close this round for now.

Careful. I've already cut something. Myself. Twice.

Trying to open the knife one-handed both times.

I think the thumb opener grip could be a little taller. but ive got large hands so maybe thats just me. I like that the lock is pretty stiff which is nice because there is no play in the blade. But seems like it hangs up a little on first bit of depression travel. Maybe the knife needs to be broken in.

The knife worked well last night when i was cutting some carpet. I was even cutting through 4 and 5 layers at a time.
