Now, I have not had a ticket since 1984, but had a "few" prior to that. The town I lived in had a "Chief of Police" that was ex-military police, and thought he was God. He would actually "Mail" me tickets! Of course, I got out of those, but he still managed to give me a bunch. The judge then, (who is now a KS Senator), asked Mr. Super Cop, just what he had against me??? He gave me 4 tickets in 5 minutes once, and he motioned me over to where he was to set me up for two of them. I probably deserved a couple of them, since I had a 1970 Chevelle SS, and had quite a "lead foot", but, he really had a thing out for me. It all came to a complete turnaround though, as he came to wrok for me at the ElDorado Correctional Facility in 1992 as a Corporal while I was a Staff Sergeant. I reminded him then that "Paybacks are hell"! He didn't stay long in Seg with me though, don't know if it was because of me, or the stress of working in Seg, but I enjoyed it immensely!!!

Got pulled over last night in the Cavi™ on my way home from work... For no front plate. WTF? No ticket, just a written warning. Closest thing I've ever gotten to a ticket... I've always gotten verbal warnings before this.

I thought about getting a Texas Peace Officer plate but decided I didn't want my truck keyed and I also enjoy being able to retain air in my tires LOL.

53 in a 40. Sucked because it was in a speed reduction area, going from 50 to 40 so I let off the gas but it wasnt in time for the cop to nail me. Got court supervision so it's not on my record thank god.

Best one was 51 in a 35 just before Christmas a while back. I was driving my step-mom's minivan with my mom in the passenger seat. I pass the cop knowing he's coming back for me and just pulled over. When he came to the car and asked for my license and insurance, dear ol' mom leaned over and informed him that it wasn't my car. Luckily it was in my dad's name (same as mine) and my out-of-state license pretty much explained why I was driving it. $98 ticket I paid on my way out of town -- mom gave me the money for it.

Last one was 6/6/02 while I was visiting Phoenix. I was driving down a busy street, 3 lanes east, 3 lanes west, suicide lane in the middle (Indian School @ 23rd Ave). I'm driving eastbound in the center lane and a gold Focus is slightly ahead of me in the left lane. All of a sudden he starts slowing down. I have no idea why so I just keep going when a motorcycle cop pulls out behind me. Tells me he stopped me for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a cross-walk. It turns out there was some lady with her groceries standing in the suicide lane in a cross-walk at an uncontrolled intersection.

I was driving a dealership car (long story how I scammed that loaner car) on a dealer tag. Cop came back and said he could write me 4 tickets (later I find out they refer to that as 'pen ******')...failure to yield to the ped, passing a car that stopped for the ped, no insurance even tho it was taped to the back of the tag, and driving on a dealer tag but not working for the dealer which I did in a round about way. Only cost me $120. Luckily that's all I've had lately.

got pulled over today for rolling a stop sign lol

cop seemed pretty annoyed that he was even there, said the people in the neighborhood had been complaining about people rolling it so i assume he was forced to go sit out there ha. he just asked me like ten times "full complete stops, right?" i said "yessir officer" everytime and he let me go

ah it feels good to be home...ha

I was driving down the road and saw a cop in the bushes.. After I went by I flashed my lights at the cars coming the other way, well turns out there was another cop about 1/4 to 1/2 a mile down the road in the bushes and saw me do this.. Pulled me over and gave me a Improper Use of Highbeam's ticket.. It cost $95!!!!!

Those weren't the speeds, they were the years I got them.

They've been off my record for nearly thirty years now, my auto insurance premium is about 12 cents.
Raoul- what did they do, ask you how much you had in your pockets and then price the insurance premium at that? Goat herd'in doesn't pay very well does it?
