I guess if your concerned about privacy then I imagine you have never tried looking at your home through Google Earth?

Keyword is some. He is saying most actually stay and talk about the property and the land, if thats what they were interested in, why not do the same? It's not always about hiding something either, most just value their privacy to a high degree, thats why they live where they live and not in the heart of a big city; like NoLongerJeepin said, its about respect. I'll have to agree though, if it's continually happening then why not try the police, it couldn't hurt anything.

Philip, google earth dont show much to be concerned with. hell it only shows the front yard is green the back is dirt.

A PI or the Sheriff still requires me to get some sort of linking information like a vehicles plates, still requires me chasing people.

I still dont think NCSU understands the setting here, now its hard to explain. there is 4 houses on this private drive. i have 2 neighbors who aren't family and my brothers up the hill. there is plenty of houses within view. i have one lot advertised for sale north of me, 2 lots above that arent listed. nothing listed west, and the 40 acre parcel is listed east of me. the realtor listing the east property placed his signs on my private drive and i have removed them, those lots have their own easement plotted on the east side of their lot. so other than that, there isnt much around me in close vicinity. im close enough to the main road that your standard binocs give a good view. with that said im seeing people in my driveway stopping and taking pictures, i only chased one person that sat at the main road for 25 min until i was tired of it. the incidents of people sitting on the main road are few. i know for a city dweller its hard to grasp the country lifestyle i live and grew up in.

the reason i feel paranoid is because i've started legal action with Rods Cars, he's the type of guy who's been picked up by the feds for "something". I know hes a threat to my lifestyle and so is my uncle.

Now like i stated before i have a few "items", its not like im trying to hide them but thats why i chose the country setting. so i can have my toys so to speak. numerous vehicles and a few rv and utility trailers. its not just personal items i like to have here without people taking pictures of and telling buddies about so that maybe they can steal it... i have a young daughter and i tell you, i'm very protective of her, now dont tell me kidnappings dont happen that often.

I think your best bet is to put up some no trespassing or private property signs, just stick them in the spots where you keep seeing people standing.

Thats my job, I work for an appraiser and travel around 200 miles a day taking pictures of houses. Are they foreclosures or sales? Only 1 on each order I perform. I have to "run" at times too. When ya are taking pics of peoples houses and parked out front and they are home......it gets tense. I have had a old lady run me down (kinda) with a cane, and a officer question me once. But its my job. Havent seena rifle yet, but I only run if im about to be confronted. I have nothing to say to the home owner and im sure they wont listen to me (judging by the looks they give as they approach lol)

So dont be so quick to judge, sure some may be sketchy, but I bet a good but are legit. Im with NCSU on this one.

after what i've watched my own "family" do... im thoroughly disgusted with people and the modern american judicial system.

alomar, if your legit, why run? carry a business card or some sort of proof. your taking pictures of someone elses property and you expect them to just smile? **** no i wouldnt.

Been there done that, have a stack of cards in the car and the car has a complete wrap. Its a white car, but not a bit of white is seen, and company name all over. Tried twice to give two different people the cards, they looked at it, laughed and kept comin (and not to give me a high 5). So yeah, done trying to be nice and explain myself. And Az has a crap load of gun toting idiots (not enough with brains to operate them properly either) and dont feel like getting shot over something so stupid as a picture of the front of their house. Oh yeah, which is ALREADY on the internet on MLS websites and realtor websites. But im the bad guy.

As per the clients we receive orders from in bold letters NO MLS PHOTOS. MLS pics are taken by the realtor, they make take our own to prove we performed the order rather than pencil whipping it.

The easement and private roads that serve the property are probably described in legally recorded documents, and other property owners may have certain rights to use the easement and private road, or to authorize other people to use the easement and private road.

For example, if someone (Klitch's mom's brother?) owns property along the easement or private road, he may be able to authorize someone to use the easement for whatever purpose he deems fit.

Get a copy of the deeds with the recorded easement and the private road (you may already have them someplace, or they may be shown in a Title Report) and find out who can legally use the road and easement, and for what purposes. It might not be a 'private' as you think.

Dave, I remember some of the deed, its rather private actually. its only open to the 8 parcel owners, govt and utilities. i remember some of that cause the old fart at the end of the road was a ***** and didnt want to pay for anything in maint.

forgot to mention, uncle has nothing to do with the area i live in, he only owns prop in idaho and has ties to seattle area.

I think the new visitors must be related to the law suits or to all the property for sale in the area.

Sounds like some of the real estate types might be getting lost. Is there is nice wide spot under a shade tree near your house where people are likely to pull over and check maps or make a phone call?

Anyways, once the law suits and the real estate activities settle down, hopefully it will quiet down and return to normal.

trees? desert? we have sage thats almost big as trees but no, nothing inviting like that.

i believe the ones that run are related to the legal matters, but why the hell are they constantly out here checking on me? they just making sure the guard dog is here and then realizing im already in my truck barreling down the drive?
