Maybe now Junior will start to perform up to his father's level. Sounds like Hendrick is going to throw everything into this to make it work. Besides, Junior is a big money driver for Hendrick. It would beneficial to Nascar for him to start winning.

I agree...about d!@$ time...although he didn't exactly get fired he got moved to R&D, but pretty much a demotion for sure. I never did think him being Jr's crew chief was a good idea because he never would try anything new or change his ways at all.
Jr. He needs to start driving harder. If you look at it, Hendricks has at least 8 cars out there. Although, they are not part of the team, but, Look how T. Stewart and R. Newman is doing this year. They both are driving Hendricks chassies and motors. There is one more, but can not think of his name. To me, I don't think Jr. will ever be like Sr. But, he is a good Driver. Hope B. Whitesal helps him out this coming weekend.

Have any of you thought that Jr. is all hype and is nothing like his father? My opinion is this: He leaves DEI (which has the $$$ and resources to run at the top anyway) and goes to Hendrick which REALLY has the $$ and resources and doesn't do squat. However, look at Mark Martin who is whipping the pants off Jr. Jr. HAS NO EXCUSES. My opinion is this: He's not his father and will never be his father. Also, he's NOT the driver that you Jr. fans thinks he is.
