I wouldn't have put the stock wheels back on. I would have thrown them in the bed and left the truck on blocks. Her new boyfriend can put them on for her.

 

Even when you're married, make sure any inheritance is put in your name only. Because it is inheritance they can't touch it no matter how long you are married. I had that happen, that was sure one disappointed girl.

 

The entire time I was reading this I thought for sure the truck was gonna end up wrecked . Great story man. You'll find someone better.

 

It's in a woman's hands now, it just might. How many guys here so far this year have had their trucks wrecked in accidents because of some woman in the other vehicle.

Please don't take this the wrong way, you have all my sympathy, but........

For over a week now, I have been sitting at my home office PC from 5 PM to 8 PM doing my annual Christmas stock up orders for my Hobbytown USA franchise.

22 separate vendor orders, totalling thousands and thousands of line items I have to manually type into my Order System and then make a line by line decision as to what to order and how many.

Anyway, to keep my sanity, I access the AOL music portal and listen to music for 15 hours a day. My taste in music is, well, unusual. My favorites are Celtic (Sort of Irish/Scotch Country Western), Irish Pub Songs and down and dirty country western, "Drinkin' Songs, Cheatin' Songs, Lost Love Songs, Gone/Goin' to Jail Songs."

I read your first three posts or so and the first thing that came into my mind is that someone really needs to write a down and dirty country western song about your experiences.

I sure hope you didn't co-sign any of those loans/leases your ex GF committed to.

If you have paid receipts or canceled checks for any of the payments you made on the truck or furniture, I'd give her a bill for it. Most likely she will tell where to shove it and laugh. But she won't laugh when you take her to small claims court. Win or lose, she'll regret dropping you in the grease. Now if anybody asks if I'm married or have a wench I share bills with, the answer is NO!. I am a firm member of the 3 F Club- Find 'em, F 'em, Forget 'em.

 

Dude I think you screwed her over more than she screwed you since she's stuck with the truck and its probably gonna be repoed and screw up her credit for a long time.

And the best part is that she thinks she screwed you over.

Did I read in an earlier post that she was your fiance??? Since she broke it off with you she has to give the ring back. That'd probably make a good down payment on a new truck. That'd really **** her off especially when she realizes how bad she just screwed herself and she's either stuck with the $525 payment + insurance or a repo and you're not going to take the truck back since you're replaced it. Sorry to hear about what happened, but at least you found out much sooner than later
