Definitely hang in there. Having your health is very important.
I went through chemotherapy when I was 20 years old and it was depressing and eye opening too. I had to sit there for 4-5 hour stints and get pumped full of meds. Most everyone around me was in their 80's and frail looking.
15 years clean though so it worked but was a challenge.

Hey Buck, it could be worse. You could get cut off from F150online. Hang in there Jim, dialysis ain't fun, it's just something else you add to your weekly routine. I've got an uncle that's been doing it for years. He just drives over to the dialysis center three times a week and sits around there for a few hours getting "rejuvenated". At least you'll be able to self-medicate from home.

Sorry for your news Buck, but there's good things to look foward to. As others have said, getting on a donor list is priority #1 right now. Keep your head up and be thankful for what you do have; it could always be worse! Keep us updated!

Thanks everyone, I am on the transplant list nationally and have been since June. I have 2 people left that may be a match 5 others have been ruled out for different reasons. It is great to know some people cared enough to give up a organ. I will move on with my life and make the best of it as i go. I did see a 8 point buck this morning and almost had his azz but he was to far away to stick with an arrow, tomorrow is another day.... again thanks. No more hunting after this weekend which sucks but i'll be back!!!

The stuff they can do these days is amazing. I've got Crohn's and my Doc has been pumping me full with this stuff called "Remicade", some crazy antibody derived from mice that's supposed to help heal this intestinal fistula I have. I have no idea if it's working yet, we should know 1st quarter next year.

and I thought all this time Bucky was on the organ transplant list for a new pecker.
I read on the bathroom wall that he only had a 3 inch noodle so the doctors put him on the list to get a real one; would help his self-esteem and all that stuff.
That's why you never see Bucky smile in his photos.
