Who has seen the video clips of this in the last couple days, on the news ? The suspect was basically laying flat on his stomach, hands and legs spread, apparently at the end of a police chase.
So one of the cops runs up and just unloads a feild goal kick right to the guys head.
I know... I know... their is probably a part of all of us who would would like to see ALL the bad guys get kicked in the head.
But in reality, I could not see how this guy could have possibly been any kind of a threat at that point, and the cop looked totally unproffessional to me.

In any case, this action was ruled a "neccessary action" to divert the suspects attention..... and the cop faces no disciplinary action !

Oh.... so later they found out they had the wrong guy.....
Doh ! Just kidding ;-) But that wouldn't surprise me a whole bunch either.

That's why they're police and you're not.

 

I like older cops. They are there because they like helping people and are resonable. Its the younger cops that get all excited and get into a "john wayne syndrome". That is when they get annoying.

 

If you commit a crime and run from the police you deserve more than just being kicked in the face.

 

I wish our cops could shoot documented criminals that are running...

 

Doubtful considering the chase he lead them on. Anyway, they were just getting pulled over for a traffic violation.

If you ask me, he needs more then a kick in the head. Bet you wouldn't be complaining if he hit and destroyed your fixed up truck in that chase. And I bet nobody would be complaining if he hit and killed a kid while driving on the sidewalk.

I personally don't care that a cop kicked a POS gang banger in the head. Looked like he was just trying to kick some sense into him if you ask me.

 

Well, cops are just people. Some are worthless, but thank God for the others. What I respect the most, is cops that are truly out to make a positive difference.

It's lame when a cop enforces the "Letter of the law" rather than the "Spirit of the law".

Basically, I was just commenting on that cops unproffessionalism.

the cop was wrong regardless. force necessary to gain control is all that is required, and that is what they are trained to do, he needs reprimanded. my dad was a cop. so ive heard all the stories, anymore its 50/50, some good people. some badge heavy ******

 

simple. he told the suspect not to look at him in fear that he would grab his ankle when he got close enough
