i filled out the availability sheet today during orientation.this was when i was told about the 1 year over nioght crew -this is something i feel should have been brought up during my 5 minute interview with the company. i did mention i was a family man during this interview -- needing 1 weekend off a month when my wife works-- i would think that would be a good time for the dist manger to say by the way....

i called the district manager 2 times today when i got home and he did not call me back.

i talked to my old district manager at bradlees and he told me which i agree " is the most unprofesssioanl thing he had ever heard of.

Nope, still a lowly hourly employee and I can't figure out why. I graduated in the top 99 percent of my Class.

UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!
Not to drag on a story to long-- The district manager called from walmart at 8am on 2/27/01 at my home. I told him there was no way I could work the over night crew when my turn came up and I would need some kind of insurance that i would never do this. I also told him I would have never taken the job if I knew this involved over night work. To make a long story short- I started CVS at today. I like it much better so far and I found out today that the training is only 4 weeks and I am only a asst. manager for now. ( which is good) Not the manager position after the training.

so every thing worked out so far for me. now I have to wait to see where they put me (cvs) when I am sone the training

I'm in a state of confusion.

If you're saying your previous posts were an attempt at sarcasm, it would probably work if it was done in person. On the net, however, you need to put in some smilies or other words at the end that leaves no doubt about what you're saying.
