There's this guy that all of us know, French Canadian Albert.
This guy is a typical Quebecois French ignoramus, he's rude, loud, ignorant, disrespectful of everyone, just a real
'know-it-all' jerk.

Now this is long, so if you have the attention span of a flea, move along, I don't want to keep you, but to the people who remain, I promise you a point at the conclusion of this story.

Albert plays backgammon & poker, but he's weak, so we play him every chance we get to take his money. (He thinks he's good, but unlucky)
Mind you, you're really earning your money because you have to listen to his mouth running the entire time, and the more he drinks, the worse he gets.
However, if you can 'ride it out', the $100 bucks you just made from his is worth the 2 hours of bs. (He cheats like a sonofagun, so you have to watch him like a hawk)

Now Albert is just one of those guys who is a rude ignorant ***** 100% of the time (I swear I'm not exaggerating)
The funny thing is, that if you ever treat him the same way he does to everyone else, he gives you this look, like "buddy, why are you being like that?"
All of a sudden he becomes all concerned and can't understand why you're doing it back to him.

He could kick you in the nuts 10 days in a row, and then on the 11th day when you do it to him, he will look at you all hurt and ask "Why would you do that?"
When you explain that you're doing it to give him a taste of his own medicine, he seriously looks PO'd, as if he's the poor victim who is being mistreated.

Now, getting back to the original photo in this thread and the caption "Does This Turn Your Stomach"?
There's a select group on here, and it's funny because I play this game with myself, when I log into GD at F150online, I read the thread title first, and then I try to guess the poster before I actually look at his name.
Certain guys are famous for certain kinds of posts.
It's amazing at how many times I am correct.

I won't mention any names but there's a few fellas who CONSTANTLY rip on Obama every single chance they get.
I honestly expect some days to log on and see posts like this:

~Obamama Farted & Didnt Say Excuse Me!
~ NOBAMA Caught Picking His Nose!
~ MOMOBAMA Took a Wiz & Forgot To Flush
~ NoMoBama admitted to reading a Playboy in Grade 5.

The Problem, not really a problem, but moreso an observation is this:
Some of you guys rip on him for every little thing, and that's fine, you hate the guy, it's understood. However some of you hold a Democrat President to such a high standard, a standard which you would never hold a republican President to, and it's hypocritical.

I've been a member here since 2001 or 2002 (Can't remember exactly) but plenty of time to be here while the Bush's were president, and I don't remember the nit-picky posts by these same people whenever Bush messed up. Some of you guys behave like a bunch of Albert's, big bunch of spoiled baby's who can't play by the rules or be the fair in the slightest way.
Not all of you mind you, some guys are fair when these discussions come around.

When Ref posted the photo of President Bush holding hands with King Abdullah, that was the ultimate 'owned' reply, you really can't get better than that, and when it's all said and done, a few guys come back with the ya buts and the ya wells, and the rest scatter away quietly never to be seen until next time.

I think the constant bickering and battling can be fun sometimes, but man, at least try to play fair and don't be an Albert.

The Ya Buts stops here

So we are back to the "Ya well" huh?

Oh well, since someone else did it, it's o.k.

Here's the deal:

When a conservative, Republican President bows to a world leader who is our ally, it is OK and he did the right thing...

When a liberal, Democratic President bowed to a world leader who is our ally, well, the stuff just hit the fan and what an ingrate and weak-kneed man.

Game, set, match...you folks may play on without me.

I am done; I am taking my ball and going home. I thank you all for the nice game.

Yea, but, I thought all talks, especially formal would begin with a greeting.
There was an exodus for Iran today. He must not have greeted them properly

It wasn't as much about the greeting as it was the ridiculous content of his speech.

It just didn't invoke an air of friendliness, huh?

I'm thirty-seven years old.

Ten years ago at twenty-seven, I was just starting to get over my " I wish I could save the worlds people from dispair" phaze and entering my "I'm working pretty damn hard and I see all these people with more than me who aren't working much for it" phaze. After being employed by him for seven years I was starting to become more involved with my fathers company. I was in a relationship with a girl, now my wife, that was becoming pretty important.

Twenty years ago at seventeen, I was driving a taxi in our area hole city getting a crash course on real life, because I'd recently quit high school. I'd though that I already had all of the answers and didn't need all these adults to tell me what life is all about. I was interested in metal music and hanging out with my friends. I'd got an appartment, the first of all of my group, and a bunch of friends would hang out at my place. I didn't realize at the time that I was being counterproductive, but for the time it was fun.

Thirty years ago at seven, I was riding my bike and hiking through the woods near my house with the neighborhood kids. My father made me rake the yard in the fall or I was grounded. Home life was tough for my brother and sisters with a father who worked tons of hours every day so we hardly ever saw him but when we did he was reprimanding us for what we'd done wrong, and a mother who was, we realized years later, clinically depressed and quite disconnected from us kids.

It's not exactly a sudden jolt of conscience. In hindsight I wish I'd done more, but I was busy growing up.

These things have been accumulating for years, as you've pointed out. If now isn't the time for the American people to stop the accumulation, when is?

If a lot more people took a little time to look at the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, I think that there would be more people who would be interested in taking our government back from politicians and reforming it more like the vision that the Founders had.

I think that your opinion prevails in our country. I don't think that anything will be done. When enough people realize that something NEEDS to be done, it'll be too late. I feel the need, at this point in my life, to do SOMETHING. Too many people, like my father, and his father and the fathers, mothers, brothers sisters, aunts, uncles, friends and family from generations of people across this country worked too hard for this all to come crumbling down, and be rebuilt in the image of oppressive government that generations worked to distance themselves from.

People can defend Obama if that's what they feel they need to do. This isn't about Obama. It's about regular people who don't feel accurately represented in our government.

So you don't see the difference between our relationship with England and the hate speach and actions of chaves? Are you calling them equal?

Again I will say it. Bush was no Conservative. He did plenty of good things though. When he messed up we Conservatives said so. And maybe we cut him some slack because we realize how bad we would have been with algore or war hero kerry. Give that some consideration.
The photo of bush holding hands.. hardly a owned photo. Saudi is no angle country. But they do let us have a base there. We have access there. We get some oil from there. chavez took control of the leases foreign oil companies had. He wrote a book on how evil America is. He even called obama names a month ago. Again... hardly the same thing as what the saudi's mean to us.... as imperfect as they are. Oh.. and you have been a member since Feb 2002

Hey Habibi, the story makes more sense to me when I substitute Chris for Albert.

We have a winner, haha, give this man a T-shirt & thanks for playing.

To be honest, Chris does have a nice side to him, deep down somewhere, Albert doesn't.

Don't say I never paid you a compliment Chris
