So i found this 2003 lighting in Houston TX. It has 41k on it right now. Its in pretty good shape and looks stock in the photos. They are asking $15980 for it. Do I really have any room to talk them down? My question is what should I look for and does this sound like a good deal. Im thinking about heading down there to look at from el paso. I guess im really just ranting. Ive wanted a lightning for so long. The only thing that sucks is im leaving in 3 weeks for another year long tour in Iraq. What do you guys think I should do? How would you tell your wife? ?

 

check for obvious signs of a pulley change, rubber in the wheel wells, if it's been tuned make sure you get the tuning device

I've seen them as low as 12-13K, so I would try to talk him down a bit.
