U.S.A. Country of slobs???

Sorry but i have to rant just a bit here. I drive 60+ miles to work each way so i see plenty of crap going on in my part of the country. This week has to be the worse ever. I have never seen so many slobs, they are throwing their garbage right out the ****** windows without any care at all.

Today i am driving in and i am going down some country back roads for a nice change of pace. I see the slob in front of me throw out 2 bags of garbage!!!
2 ****** bags of garbage?? right out the passenger window onto the side of the road and they split open and now garbage is flying all over the place.

Now i am so pissed my ears are burning, I wanted so bad to do a pit maneuver on the slob but i maintained. I caught up to him and forced his azz off to the side of the road. I got out and attempted to tell this guy he was a ****** SLOB sonabitch. Well he copped an attitude with me and i have to tell you fine people i lost it man, big time. I grabbed this guy and pulled his butt out of his truck and dragged him next to my truck and sat him on the ground and called the cops. I waited for 1/2 hour and no police showed up. So i had to let him go but i have his plate number as he would not tell me his name.
Now i may have went a bit over board but this stems from seeing a woman throw a TV onto the side of the road last week and i did nothing, But not anymore. I am taking the lead here and if i see someone even throw out a butt i will be on their azz...

So did i over react?? Should i have just minded my own business?? I think not.
It just seems to me people just don't care anymore...
Okay now i feel better, rant done.

i dont think you over reacted at all.

legally, i dont know if it was right or wrong, but in my book, i think there is honor in what you did, and you should feel good about your choice.

maybe that idiot will think twice about doing the same thing again.

I know he will for sure he assured me of that. He was maybe 25ish and he was so scared (after being dragged out of his truck) he was drooling and shaking like don knots in a gun fight.

I am one of those folks that have a legal firearm. I just think it is time for us as a nation to get back to what really matters and have some damm respect for this great place we all call home. I would never draw my weapon for something this petty, unless the situation changes dramatically. If we all just get a little bit involved when we see something, even to just get a plate number but something.

yea i dont think you overeacted at all. from what everyone tells me, the guy that owned my truck before me always threw his garbage in the woods which that would pi$$ me off if i witnessed it. its just stupidity. i was talking to a buddy of mine(neighborhood cop) and he said that he was right behind someone while driving his car (unmarked poilice car) and they threw there empty mcdonalds cups out the window and he said he was about to flip. he pulled them over and made them walk over and pick up the trash and then he wrote them a ticket. i cant stand people that do that kind of stuff.

Morally, you did a good thing and I support you. Legally, you assaulted him. If you go on an *** kicking campaign, someone might press charges on you. Be careful.

We occasionally have clean up weekends here. But one thing I can't figure out , is why people want to throw their old appliances[like washing machines, dryer, TV etc:], off of old bridges on country roads. We will take a truck wench to pull them up and haul them to scrape yard, dumps or whatever the case calls for. I was born in this area, and have lived here most of my life. Believe it or not, most are more aware now than they were ten years ago.
When we find trash bags or such, we collect names and turn them in to the proper officials. Some people have been fined in this manner. It does help a little, especially when the fines are listed in the Newspaper.
You get an attaboy Bucky!
You may be a tough sob and the most handsome in the Forrest, but high speed lead can mess you up.

First, let me say, I do think you are right.
Secondly, to someone who is being dragged out of the vehicle, I doubt they would classify that as petty. If someone tried to drag me out of the vehicle, right or wrong, if possible, they would get shot. I would classify that as a threat and an attempted assault and would defend myself properly. Be careful in the future when dragging people out of their cars.

Yes, we have a country full of slobs. I mow the lawn of a company that is on one of the buisiest corners in the city. You wouldnt believe the amount of trash that ends up on that lawn. One girl who was in the passenger seat of her friends car even had the audacity to throw a half full mcdonalds drink right in front of my mower while they were waiting at the light. I decided to stop my mower, pick up the cup, and throw it into the car through an open window without saying a word to her. The driver was more than a little pissed.

Good job Buck! I live about 8 miles south of the city. A couple of years ago I followed a truck pulling a trailer full of brush down the highway, onto rock roads for several miles. When he stopped, I stopped. Finally he went back to the city. He was just looking for a place to dump his crap for free.

Buy a lottery ticket, you're that lucky.

Force ME off the road?
Approach with ill intent?
Grasp MY door handle and attempt to open? With that ugly puss of yours?

The story stops there, friend.

The cops will be trying to figure out why your bullet riddled carcass is sprawled across the double yellow.

Pickupman with all due respect if you shoot someone for pulling you from your vehicle then maybe you should not have that gun at all. I do understand what you are saying but i would defend myself with my fists/feet/breath first before shooting someone. Now if that person had a weapon pulled then all bets are off and away goes the lead. I could see this young man was visibilty upset/scared and i had full view of his hands at all times. We all need to make a stand, draw a line in the sand about looking the other way and think well it's none of my bizness and that is all well and good but i am not doing that **** no more.

1st4x4 i think we all need to stand our ground on something and yes there are worse things in the world so we all need to start somewhere. Just because everyone seems to be armed these days i'm not laying back no longer. What folks do on their own property is up to them i have no say there. I will just get plate numbers moving forward instead of losing it. I will clean up his mess on my way home tonight and when i get more info on where he lives i will drop it off.
