Why thank you! I appreciate your kindness - just don't let the OTHERS know or you'll be dragged in as well.
I grew up in New York City, specifically the Bronx. But I spent many summers at my Aunt & Uncle's farm in Ohio & that's where I picked up my love for country & cows! Just call me a country bumpkin! And darn proud of it too!
I've never been to your great state but I'd love to visit it someday. If I do I'll let you know - maybe you can show me around! The same goes for you - I'm not far from Niagara Falls & it is truly AWESOME! Pack up the wife & kids & come on up for a visit! One word of caution though - might want to wait till spring or summer - it won't be as icy then! Seriously!!! LOL!
Thanks again for backing me up. Keep an eye on that other forum - I'll either be posting pics of me & my truck there or at cooltrucks.net. If they want to rip me apart they may as well know WHO they are ripping apart! Bye for now!

Cowlady,
What part of Ohio? I was born and raised in the Troy area, haven't been back for a few years but I still call it home.

Well howdy there neighbor! LOL! Actually I'm not familiar with where Troy is but my Aunt & Uncle were on Route 82 in Royalton, across from 84 Lumber - just outside Columbia Station where my Dad grew up. Their farm is now a golf course! I still have relatives in Elyria, Kent, Parma & Stow as well as just outside Cleveland. How far is this from you?
I haven't been there since 1990 but would love to go back & visit. Maybe this summer I'll take a ride out & go show off my truck! LOL! Funny thing is, my cousins all became typical suburbanites & then there's me - I want to be a dairy farmer! Life sure can be funny!

Well, Troy is about 15 miles north of Dayton, so it's a good distance from the area you are talking.

Cool

Cowlady,
I was born and raised in Stow, Graduated with a B.A. at Kent State, and then I lived in Illinois/Indiana (right on the border), also lived in 2 cities in Michigan, and back here to Akron. I've been other places, nice to visit, but this area offers a great deal and I plan to stay!! You should visit here more often! GO TRIBE!!

Well Cowlady, I'd pack them up and visit you, if I had them, lol. Fortunately, I'm still enjoying the single life, I figure I have plenty of time before I get married. Have a good little batchler pad, if you want to visit someday.
Who gives a rat's @ss about those whiners? They obviously don't realize, that real men and women drive Fords.

You're kidding! My Uncle had been a Math professor at Kent State! I believe he was Department Chairman!
I would like to get back as I said & if I do I'll let you know - we can meet somewhere!
Just saw on the news about a horribel fire in Cleveland - looked bad! Hopefully it will be controlled soon! Just my luck - I want to visit & Cleveland will have burnt to the ground!
Ever go watch the Cleveland Baron's Hockey team? I saw them twice - here & in Cleveland. I wonder how many people even remember them?
Well, if you ever decide to come out this way I'd be happy to show you & your family around. Don't forget - we have Niagara Falls! Bye!

01sl - if I ever get down to Texas I'll be sure to stop & say hi! There's an awful lot of cows there I want to visit so I'd be there awhile!
Rather than be accused of writing as if this were a chat room or annoying the people I do such a good job of annying just because I'm me, I won't give out my email address here. If you ever stop at eph1fifty's site leave me a message - I use the same ID there too. We can chat there. Same goes for anteater. In fact, I'll give you some names of relatives & you can see if you know them - Stow isn't THAT big! LOL! Only kidding!

Thumbs up

Since I seem to be safe here (the whiners can't get this far I guess) I'll ask here - does anyone ever go to the chat room for this site? I've tried it several times & I'm the only one there! It's really no fun talking to myself - I do that all day long!
If anyone wants to set up a scheduled chat let me know. Best time for me is in the evening, after 8:00 PM.
Let me know what you think! Bye again!

Thanks nomo! I guess I'm in excellent company then!
I just don't see what I said that was so wrong! Oh well - I have a truck w/o problems so that makes me Public Enemy #1 it seems. You should see what's going on now under the 2 threads in Engines! Not only am I being attacked but so is anyone who supports me! Now the targets are 94LightningGal & HarleyGuy! They don't deserve this either. Their only "crime" besides loving their trucks is trying to defend me! Somehow any suggestions I have made were totally ignored & any attempt to ask others to stop the name calling has been taken as an attack! Huh? Don't even ask - I have no idea where these guys are getting their rantings from. Maybe if they would (could) read they'd see how wrong they are but I don't expect any of them to be big enought to apopogize.
One of the guys there thought I was criticizing him & I apologized immediately! He was MAN enough to see where the mistake was & accepted my apology with NO HARD FEELINGS! Mark S is a true gentleman - not like the others there who like to sling mud. I WISH they would read this! I can have myself attacked under 3 threads then! Must be some sort of record! LOL!
Well, thanks again. Have to get the truck washed since it's finally above freezing & there is no sow today! Wow! I just thought of this - maybe I should start whining & calling everyone from warmer climates names just because they don't have winter weather problems & I do! It's GOT to be their fault! ONLY KIDDING folks! Don't attack me for that - I have enough going on as it is! Bye!
