OK, the big question is where to put the sticker. It's illegal for me to put it anywhere that will obscure my vision. i.e., it can't go on any piece of glass that's visible from the driver's seat. I might be able to place it in the lower left hand side of the rear window. I think I'll tape it inside the window for now and see if it causes a visibility problem or not. If it passes the safety check, I'll stick it on the outside. Otherwise, it will have to go on the rear bumper.

Any suggestions of a better place to put it?

Hey Dennis, I'll share my idea in case I never get it done
I've got a cheap plastic cover in my hitch, so I'm planning to just cut out a piece of aluminum in the shape of the sticker, and screw/bolt it to that. Then put the sticker on there. Somebody with some welding/cutting equipment could make a whole cap pretty easily.

Got mine in the mail yesterday also, thanks Steve, I think I may put mine under my exceptionally clean hood, it can keep the superchip decal company. I was thinking it might get messed up from water and stuff if I put it on the back glass.

Flatlander, that's a hell of an idea! I can certainly weld something up and put the sticker on it. I'll have to dig thru my scraps of metal and see what I can come up with.

Hmmm... never been any good at cutting circles, much less ovals, in metal. Guess that's why God made hand and bench grinders!

Add one in Kalamazoo (as soon as it stops snowing long enough to dry the window).

Q: Where's the 'preferred' location?

well I also got mine yesterday as well as a new NRA sticker...I think I'll be cleaning my back window of the current (multiple) #88 and #2 stickers and band stickers and puttin the new F150online sticker right dead center in between the 2 NRA stickers (which are on the inside for a subdued effect)

cheers

Got mine yesterday too. Will go right in the corner of the rear slider. Thanks Steve!! I try and tell all my buddies who have or are thinking of buying a F150 to check this site out. Its helped me on many occasions in my few months of owning a F150 and I`m proud to display the F150online sticker on my truck.

I've got a whole pile of them to put on Friday night.... but my new F-150online sticker is boogered up! I pulled it out of the envelope and the right end loked like it had been beaten with a ball-peen hammer about 30 times! F---in' mail anyhow! But I still have my autodynamic sticker, the KC sticker that'll come with the lights, the Manik sticker, as well as a U of M tag and 2 Ford/UAW apprenticeship logos (One old style, one new style... long story). They're all going along the bottom edge of the back window where they won't obscure anything. Oh, and I can't forget the annual Metropark pass in the front window... better change that out of my Explorer.

-Joe-

Also, I have a hint for all those "non'transferrable" stickers.... if you can, don't let them stick it to the glass right away... (but don't tell them the real reason. Just say that you want to make sure to get it in there straight when you get home) Take the sticker home and stick it to a piece of saran wrap. Then, lick the saran wrap and stick it to the glass in the car. If you get a good seal, it'll never come off until you peel it off, and then you can lick and stick it in another car. Works great for park passes and such if you own more than one vehicle, unless you are going to be there with both vehicles at the same time. I used to use my friend's Metropark sticker all the time. I'm not too sure how well it would work on the outside of the window, but it might be worth a try. This only works if they don't assign the tag number to a specific vehicle, of course, I guess you could always argue that someone entered the wrong info into the computer.... :-) But that would be dishonest, wouldn't it? ;-)

Got mine too. However, with two great stickers now I am undecided about which one to display. The original, yellow www.f150online.com sticker looks sweet under the center brake light while the new silver logo would look just as good in the middle of the slider. I'm afraid it's just "too close to call"! hehehe

Question

Could you please send me another one down here in West Palm Beach?

I inadvertently threw away the sticker and affixed the envelope to my bumper.
