I got a rodent problem.
I do pest control.
Unfortunately, there lots of myths out there about how to control rodents. Forget about most "repellents." Most don't work very well. You need to kill the rat.
Is your truck parked in a garage when the rodent attacks it or is it parked outside?
If parked in a garage, you have more options. If it were my place, I'd just set some snap traps around underneath the trucks baited with peanut butter or sardines. Don't use snap traps if you have pets/small kids that go in the garage.
Outside, you will catch birds in the snap traps, so you might want to try a live-animal trap underneath your truck.
Beware of harming your pets/kids with poison.
