Post Pray she puts my little boy on the plane!

Hello, sorry for the sob story, but I gotta vent...

In short, my husbands exhoochie won't return our son to us. She called us from home when he should have been on the plane, saying she just couldn't put him on the plane. We changed the tickets to today, and she called us at 1:15am to say she couldn't make it. We changed it to Saturday, and we hope she makes it and puts him on it. He is only 6 yrs old, and needs his medicine (he has ADHD/Depression/Anxiety/eating disorder...).
So, being a firm believer in prayer, those of you that can/will, please pray she puts our son on the plane Saturday!

Thanks
Claudia

Well, he wasn't on the plane. Guess it's time for us to get nasty... Dagnabit, why do people have to put kids through crap like this? They are not pawns in the game of life at this tender age... CRAP!

Again, sorry for the vent, thanks for the support

Claudia:
What kind of custody arrangement do you have in place? I'm assuming that you folks live in different states. If so, you may have to make a trip there to get things settled. If you do decide to go pick-up your child, make sure you bring all of the custody papers and contact local law enforcement to assist you. If the officer is unable to help (for whatever reason), make sure you ask to speak to their supervisor just to make sure the officer isn't giving you the runaround.

Also, many communities have a Deputy District Attorney who handles child custody/stealing cases. Find out who this person is and make contact.

Child stealing (or just hiding a child during custody cases) is a criminal offense here in California and I'm sure it's the same in most states. In any event, you need to speak to an attorney near you for advice; these situations can be easy to handle or they can be very difficult. Use the resources available to you and don't try to do it all yourself. You pay taxes that support a huge criminal justice system...make use of it.

Good Luck!!!

Thanks Marv... She is in CA. I called the airlines this morning, and a passenger is listed w/ my sons name as on the plane, so I will know at 1:45pm if he is on it.

Speaking of atty's, I am the VP of my college chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, the law frat. If you, or anyone on here knows of any atty's that are also memebers, and may like to give SOME assistance/guidance to a fellow member, possibly get a retainer, we are thinking about getting involved in some legal action and could use an attorney!

<sigh> Anyway, I will know more this afternoon. Thanks to all of you who have commented and given support/advice. It is greatly appreciated! I figure we at least have our trucks in common, I kinda feel like ya'll are family...

Best of luck, Claudia..your child doesn't need to be involved in something he doesn't understand. He just needs love. I hope it turns out okay, and his smiling little face is there to greet you.

PHEW!! Hallelujah! He was on the plane! He is very subdued, almost to the point of being drugged possibly... but, I'm sure it's just jet lag and a schedule change.

Thanks again for all of your thoughts, suggestions and prayers.

Yea you gotta document this for further custody restrictions. You cannot let her have him again unsupervised.

Glad things are ok. Take him to a counselor real quick and see if he has anything to "share".
