My Rottweiler has been sprayed twice within the last few months the last time it sprayed her right in the face and all in her mouth of course she came back to the house and it was windy that nite and i bent down to rub her and she gave me a big kiss right across the face, Talk about waking up DAMN!!!!!

I've used a combo of baking soda and peroxide to get the smell outta my mutt. Works mint.

Nah, we just need to drop bacon bits.

 

When two of my foru got skunked, we used, peroxide, baking soda, and Dawn. Believe it or not, Massengill Douche (PLAIN) works quite well, too.

2 16 oz bottles of peroxide
1/4 cupt of baking soda
1 tbsp of Dawn Dishwashing Liquid

well we were doing yard work we found a dead skunk. Dog must've got sprayed then killed it or got a hold of it then sprayed.

 

Tomato will just give you a red smelly dog, you have to use the douche!!!!. and wash the animal 2xs. No douche bag just the portable box douche one from the store. I had to send the wife to get it (no way i am doing that). Skunk smells like a old Canadian on a hot summer day!!!

Someone else mentioned this recipe. We used it and it works well.

* 1 quart 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
* 1/4 cup Baking Soda
* 1 teaspoon liquid soap

Mix in a bucket (it will fizz).
Soak your dog's fur, but be careful not to get any in his eyes.
Use a sponge to clean off his head and around his eyes.
Knead solution into the fur and be sure to get every part of him with it.
Rinse thoroughly.
