54regcab,

No way I could/would go back to a regular cab truck! The extra space is WELL worth the extra money.

Well I see most of you are very happy with the supercab and if you wouldn't go back then it must be pretty good stuff.

Question

I've never had a reg cab, this is my first ever vehicle and it's an S/C. I wouldn't mind the reg. cab(my dad has one)it would be lighter, maybe a little better acceleration and a smidgen better gas milage...However a S/C has more storage room, fold down seats are nice(just fold'em down and throw whatever i want to back there). I can also have more friends go riding around with the S/C...I don't know it doesn't really matter to me...

I had really considered a Mustang at first, but insurance was so high that a GT was out of the question...Although the new V6's are pretty perky...a six and a stick wouldn't be too bad...

What all this rambling boils down to is: I easy to please. I love my truck the way it is, but wouldn't mind a reg. cab or a Mustang...HOWEVER, I want to keep my truck regardless of what other vehicle I ever get...Who knows, it may become a show truck or something...

Thumbs up

third one
first one was a long box,
just to long,
the last two are the short boxs
it's a perfect balance.
don't miss the lost bed space but love the
added space in the cab.

Seacrow I do have a white truck and washed it once so far the short time I had it. Took me a little longer to wash it than it did my mustang I had.

Love the s/c better if I have to sell. Also have the longbed so I get the added value of exercise as I must park in the next state. Had a 73 F100 and 87 Ranger regular cabs, will stay with the s/c.

I'll stick with the regular cab long wheel base for know. I don't think it is safe to have half of your cargo and your fourwheeler resting on your tailgate while down. Seems very unsafe to me.

All of my trucks but 1 have had some type of extended cab. At 6'6" 280lbs regular cabs and cars just don't work.

stephen muscio,
Holy cow!!! how do you park it?
I'm always tyhinking how much of a pain mine is to park.
I'll say this though, a car is easy to park after driving a big truck
