That leaves Northern Ohio with two big box stores---BEst Buy and HH Gregg---and I have never been impressed by HH GRegg. But, as others have mentioned, therewill be a lack of competition, so prives probalby won't be low.

Just because a company isnt the best or smartest does not warrant them to deserve to shut down. Other wise I could list about 15 companies who deserve it, starting with walmart and the 1.6+ million associates. I mean the place sucks and I dispise it so they deserve to shut down, screw the 106+ million associates, they will be like me! Just as ignorant as the people who came into our store while we were liquidating telling us stright to our face that we deserved to lose our jobs. Only difference is, I was actually allowed to grab them physically and throw them out of the store.
Are you an idiot? Of course it does.

Second bolded line warrants assualt. You have no right to touch anyone, who do you think you are?

So people shouldn't get the best bang for their buck?

I find it amazing, that your bad mouthing smart shoppers, yet if you ever got screwed $20 on equal merchandise you'd be in here whining, just like anyone would.

If you have good service and track record, you can charge more. If you have **** service, you'll only survive if you offer low prices. Don't get mad at your country when it was the big wigs steering the boat into iceburgs.

I'm not saying people shouldn't get the best bang for their buck but how can a litlle ma & pa shop keep up with the likes of mass retailers. I agree good service helps people coming back but even at that most people look at parts pricing only and go where they will get the cheapest deal. I don't expect for somebody to screw me when I go somewhere but I am not going to be crying over a $20.00 price difference if I can buy it local versus online.

But alas I didn't, Signed the police report, shook their hand, and went about my business.

I'm sure a lot more people in China would lose their jobs if WalMart shut down. Better yet, why doesn't WalMart insist that all it's goods get manufactured here? I could care less if WalMart followed CC down the tracks.

About 14 years ago, when my son and daughter were about 2 and 3, my wife and I and the kids were in a local Circuit City looking at some speakers for my Toyota pickup. It was very close to closing time, and there were very few people in the store. My kids were being kids...running around, playing with each other. You know, being kids. The manager on duty, instead of coming and saying something to us about the kids, he proceeded to yell at my children. Now, my kids may not be the best behaving kids in the world, but there were always good kids.My wife went off on the guy and we left the store without buying anything.

Fast forward to the present. It's been 14 years and we haven't spent a dime in Circuit City. I told my wife about Circuit City going out of business. She said that even though she may not be personally responsible for the downfall of that company, she's satisfied that she did her part.

Let me add that we own A LOT of electronics. I have probably spent better than $20,000 at Best Buy during that same period of time. I'm glad to see Circuit City go. Many may say that by losing another player in the game, Best Buy is getting closer to a monopoly. Well, in today's market, the internet will always keep brick and mortar stores honest.

You think you're so badass.

You weren't charged because the person you touched didn't press charges. Unless you're defending yourself, you don't have any right to touch anyone else.

All I can see is some high-strung punk working in a retail store.

Maybe nows the time to join the force, since you're being thrown out into the street by your beloved local CC!

What the **** is wrong with you guys ? Another big chain closing is not going to do nothing for us and just leave more people without jobs. I can understand if an individual store pissed you off and that you wish they would close. This is a whole chain of stores nationwide closing people. Sure the internet keeps local stores somewhat honest but last time I checked the places that sell things online don't pay their employees that well and I don't see many of them advertising they are hiring.
