Wow it went down after a bird strike. All 150 people survived. Must have been two incredible pilots.

Because a plane struck birds? Not because of Pan Am's crash in the 70's, or TWA, or because of the Hi jackings, or any other plane crash? I would suggest not driving either because you might get in a accident.

Glad everyone got out safe and that pilots were damn good to set it down that good in a river.

Obviously there will be an investigation but I have a hard time believing these guys caused it.

Maybe there were referring to something else.
Seriously that is amazing nobody was killed. The pilots and crew are heros.

add being wet to that, and you're in for a bad time.... that and the giant turd you plopped out when the pilot said that we are crash landing in a river, hold on.... talk about panic...

Just amazing how everyone got out of there alive. Great job by the pilot bringing it down in the Hudson safely. I found it extremely hard to believe birds could take down a plane.

Lucky people, very lucky.

Birds can definitely bring down a plane. The pilot, co-pilot, attendants and all airline staff did an amazing job. I admire everyone on board for keeping their heads in this situation and not giving in to panic.

They weren't "Normal Birds", I heard on the new that it was a flock of Canadian Geese! They can be quite large!..........

You'd be amazed to see what damage they can do to a jet engine.
