T150

Checked out the new Tundra this weekend. I was disappointed. Healthy competition is what will make Ford continue to improve it's line. The Tundra looks like a 4/5 scale F150. I guess Toyota is trying to redefine 'Fullsize' and get the Big Three to 'dummy down'.

Hey Raoul, Who's that Brian fellow you're cutting on in your profile? Anyway I have to agree with you, I've got a slightly lifted 2wd F150 and I sit higher that those 4wd Tundras. Definately not quite a full size.

Hey folks, remember I bought my ford in Japan. And no you couldn't drive one off base, it's to big for their roads!! I haven't seen this Tundra yet but in 1994 Toyota was putting out a 4 door (like a crew cab!) over there. I still haven't seen them here. This Tundra might be something they are trying on the American market! I bet it aint cheap! Give me a Ford any day.

Tina, I saw those four door Toyotas all over the Caribbean and South America years ago I think our tariffs kept them out. And you're right about the Tundra price it was definitely not 4/5 scale.

Someone in my apt. complex has a tundra, everyday when I drive by it, and look down inside his bed..for some reason, I don't know why, I think about "beanie babies".

I saw a Tundra in a parking lot that still had the price tag on it at over $32,000. We could have a lightning or a dressed out 4 X 4 for less.

Who are they trying to impress? I'd hide that sticker if I paid that much for a piece of crap.

And about the so called better acceleration.
When I was looking at new trucks toyota said they had the best acceration of any full size.
BULL!
No V8 in reg cab, but charged as much as a FORD V8.
Plus they compare it to a 4.6L F150 not the big daddy 5.4L that I have.
So come on toyota when do ya want to put your commercial to the test?
I could blow your doors off stock!
No superchip, k&n, or catback required.
Just had to vent the "real deal" on acceleration.
Stick to the compact trucks that cost almost as much as a FORD fullsize why don't ya.

I'll take a "T150" as long as the engine doesn't ping, the transmission behaves and the Mechanics don't tell me "that's normal" when I take it back complaining it's too small.

Oh, I need a free Beanie Baby thrown in the deal too.
