2004 its a dell inspiron 8600

anyone know where to get a radeon mobility 9600 pro turbo? new egg doesnt sell them ebay sometimes will have one, kinda expensive for used and i dont trust it, dell sells refurbs for almost $200 and dont want to spend that much....

does the system boot up faster then vista... my comp takes forever... worst thing about vista IMO

god i hate that, vista takes forever to boot and shut down

Really? My PC with Vista Home Premium boots up real quick. When it comes to programs loading on startup, it's even quicker. I haven't even run any spyware or adware programs yet since I built the PC. It could be because of my motherboard and CPU though.

Depends on how much stuff you have installed. My old vista computer takes forever to boot and shut down but this new one is much quicker doing both.

According to this guy, it will do most everything faster...which is really not bad for a beta.

ok here are some pics (yes actual pics sorry) of the installation which looked almost identical to the vista install except this is blue vista is green...

my wireless driver doesnt work with it so im back on vista for now, ill run 7 again soon and take some screen shots, so far looks like vista with a huge task bar on the bottom that is "different", i found it difficult at first but once you figure it out its ok

When does the 7 demo expire? I dont want to go through the trouble for 1 months time. Did you set up a dual boot or just use an extra computer?

august 09 so almost 8 months, and im triple booting xp, vista, and windows 7, notice the 3 partitions
