Thumbs up

Ok things I like, my fuel milage is fantastic, 18.4 on a new engine and should break into some what better than that.
I have LOTS of room, my passengers have LOTS of room.
The console between the captains chair is HUGE!
Other people tend to get out of my way!!
Seeing as how I park in the boonies, this truck is good for makeing me walk

Things I don't like: Crappy speakers, lousy turning radius, no power slider in the rear and MY biggest complaint is when pushing in the clutch, it goes so far that I have to move my seat closer than I really like to the steeringwheel.

Tina, I'm really jealous of that gas mileage.
Seriously though, check with some place that sells handicap equipment. There are pedal extenders available to make you more comfortable.

Raoul: you got that right
would you believe I had all those speakers and the amp installed and when the husband heard it, his first (second and third) comment was to TAKE THAT SH*# OUT!! Seems he ommitted telling me that he doesn't like the thumping! His next comment was to say he wasn't gonna ride in the truck until I did take it out. Guess he's walking!! (ok, I do turn it down for him, but I'm not taking it out)

The only dislike I have about the truck is that I cannot use the fog lights with the park lights, like Dodge and the FORD EXPLORER, what is up with that, I guess they figure that if you buy a pick-up you only want to use your fog lights with the low beams. If anybody knows how I can change this without a seperate swithc let me know.

The main thing that I like about it is that it is a bad SOB!!!

LHM, it's been said that in some states, it's illegal to drive with just the fog lights on.

Yeah I know. I still want to be able to do it. I heard that it was illegal here in NC too, but we still do it.

LHM & Dennis,
If you turn on the parking lights with the fog lights I think you don't have anything to worry about (legal wise). Here is a copy of someone else's instructions on how to get just the fog lights on.

"I spliced 12v keyed power from under dash fuse box. Installed a toggle switch in a
metal flange under dash,(right next to fuse box on 2000 model). With inline fuse (5
amp I think only used to close a relay) connect in and out of switch then thru the fire wall to under hood fuse box. The stock switch uses relay # 206. I pulled the relay out to test the inputs. The wire you want is yellow. This is the power coming from
headlight switch to close fog light relay. So bare this wire and splice your new 12v feed to the yellow wire going to relay #206. This gives you the option to run fog lights any time the key is on. Also doesn't disable the stock pull on with low beam system. This will also light the OEM fog light indicator from either sorce of power."
Hope this helps.

BTW just to keep on topic the only thing that really bugged me about my truck are those cheap a$$ Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires. I fixed that I put on a set of BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KOs.... Love them...

Mike
