Seacrow, If they put in a good stereo, climate control, and plush seats, we all have to turn into "Yuppies", if you catch my drift.
For the price they want for the Lariat, they sure as hell ought to have these extras.........Dogcam

After a 14 hour drive last night, I remembered one more thing. I need to speak to the engineers who designed the seat belt system! They suck!

Black 2000 SC short-box XLT. 4.2 V-6, 5-speed, 3.55 Limited Slip. Side steps, CD, remote entry, factory box liner. My add-ons: Older Windstar (driver's side) wiper blade - the one with the air scoop, because I don't slow down when it rains; "f150online" sticker and snazzy Tweetie Bird floor mats.

My second of the "new" F150s. Great trucks!

What I like about my 99 over the 00 is:

I have that little cubby on the right of the steering wheel.
(great spot for a electric brake controller)

No grab handle on left.
(I may walk with a limp but, only the passenger gets a headache)

I have the 260hp 5.4
(I think 265hp is gaudy)

A metal gas pedal would have been nice.
What's up with the plastic gas pedal anyway?
Big tough truck, plastic gas pedal?

I don't like the winshield washers. I think the nozels should be on the wipers, not from those little nozels on the hood. When it snows they are useless unless you are going slow. When it is windy the fluid either goes low, or off to the sides, not where you need it.
I would also like adjustable pedals.
