mine is working too

well the new 3.1 firmware included new games as well as a clock. when you turn on your zune, it loads the clock as well as the rest of the start-up memory. since there was a glitch in the clock, it could not complete start-up.

I am sure that the reality is that by the time they could have safely developed, tested, released the fix it would be either well past the next day anyway or so rushed as to risk creating other problems so why take the chance of bricking things further. I would also guess that this will be fixed in their next firmware update so as to ensure anyone using their [then] 6 yr old player won't get hosed next leap year.
